Prospects

Not long to go now. Prospects look good for the early season fishing. The lake is at top water level due to high numbers of stock fish and overwintered specimens!
Best early season hotspots are: Dam, boat bay, gravel bar. However a few days of North winds can push fish down into the East and West arms.
The fish won't be too fussy during the first few days. Black/Green, White/Green or Orange lures on a floater or slow intermediate line are usually favourite.
The fish will soon wise up though and a switch to bloodworm and buzzers will be the preferred method especially for the residents.
